The Application offers owner operators and drivers hugely increased opportunities for taking on more loads and bookings.
With the GPS-enabled smartphone application, you can easily advertise your real-time location and availability status.
Plus, if your vehicle is near a load that matches your vehicle size, you’ll get the notification on the App in real-time!
New Invoicing and POD features on the Application also allow you to create and send paperwork while you are out and about – cutting down admin time and boosting your profits.
Communication has never been better with easy support for despatch groups built in and one click status updates. This will eliminate needless ‘check calls’ and so spend more time making money.
The App is available to all subscribed Exchange members and will put you on the map in the UK and in Europe! When you’re on the road, other Exchange members will be able to see your current location and status of availability. You can always ‘stop tracking’ if required.
The Application can quickly log your journeys, which will then match relevant loads along the route. This means more work and less dead mileage.
There is no additional cost for the Mobile App for Owner Operators as it is included FREE with your membership.
Version 3.2 of the Application will be available to download on Monday 12th February 2018 on both Android and Apple devices.
What can the Mobile App do for you as a company?
When you post a new load onto the Exchange it will automatically be advertised to all mobile-enabled member drivers who are currently available or companies who have mobile-enabled drivers around the collection address.
You can also search on the Live Availability Map (LAM) for a live and accurate view of all tracked members’ real-time location and availability as seen above. Check progress for proactive monitoring and increase confidence between you and your trading partner during a job with status updates and built in group messaging features eliminating unnecessary ‘check calls’.
Roll out the Mobile App to your company drivers and regular sub-contractors and you will get the benefits either within a ‘closed user group’ scenario or by being visible to the general Exchange. If you choose public view, your vehicles will appear on the Exchange under your company name and phone number, which expands your company presence on the Exchange. Their location will also generate load notifications back to your despatch office.

Brilliant! Fantastic app introduced by CX. With regards to receiving work I’ve definitely noticed an increase since using the App from companies using the Live Availability function on the website.
